About

Gregg L. Cooper

When I was 9 years old, my school invited the students to bring a camera to campus and take photos during lunchbreak for a day, and then enter their favorite photo into a contest. I had used a old Brownie camera on vacations, but did not have any film, so I asked my father for permission to bring his new and expensive 110 instamatic camera to school, and was not surprised that he said no. Just before lunch, my father came to school and presented me with a brand new 110 instamatic of my very own to use…granted, it was a (much) lesser model, but it was mine and it was glorious! Imagine my surprise, when I won the contest at school with a photo I had snapped of a seagull in flight, complete with a crescent of my fingertip in the corner…

I have always been artistic, and photography, along with other outlets has always been a expression of my passions. I found a joy in photographing subjects at Disneyland Resort and used the opportunity to learn and dabble into artistic expressions through editing and post processing. My photos have been used many times in advertising for the Disney Parks
